Regularity of surveys
Univox is quite an active site and most of the time you’ll find survey offers available. I usually have several survey offers waiting for me to complete, however there are down periods where I can receive a single survey (or none).
It’s also worth noting that you can screen out of a survey early on, and although you do get paid a small reward for this, it can still be frustrating. However, this is no different than most sites and Univox offers a comparably good amount of survey offers. Plus, you’ll find other ways to earn points and rewards mentioned below.
Earning points
One of the best parts of Univox is the variety of ways you can earn points. This keeps the site interesting and offers members lots of variety.
In addition to their paid surveys, you can participate in their free contests where you can win prizes, you can spin the wheel of fortune daily and win points, invite friends for cash rewards and reach the wall of fame and get bonus points. The more you engage with the site, the more points you’ll earn and the higher up the leader board you’ll go.
Pay
A basic survey with Univox takes anywhere from 10 – 30 minutes, and pays from 50 to 400 points (up to £1-2 on average). This is on par with other survey sites and, whilst it isn’t going to replace a fulltime income, it can make a nice side gig for little effort.
How to redeem points?
My favourite survey payment method is PayPal redemption, and luckily Univox offers this. For new members the minimum amount of points required to get paid via PayPal is 2500. They also have a range of gift vouchers to choose from like Amazon and Tango vouchers.
Univox also offers different levels of membership. The higher your membership level, the lower the amount of points will be needed to make a redemption and the faster you’ll receive rewards. You membership level is increased by the amount of redemptions you make.
You’ll start at Basic where 2500 points is needed to make a redemption. After 3 redemptions, you’ll move to verified, and then to Premium. The highest level, Ambassador, can be reached after 10 redemptions and rewards will be delivered in under 24 hours. You’ll only require 1000 points to make a redemption, and you’ll also have a better chance of winning prizes and getting survey offers at this level.
Things to note
Univox makes it easier to complete surveys with their mobile app. This means you can set up notifications so that you’ll be advised as soon as a survey offer is made available to you, and you can complete it wherever you are. Their app is available on both the App Store and Google Play.
There are mixed reviews when it comes to their support. Their Facebook page is fairly active and is a good point of call if you have any trouble. They also have contact details on their website.

I’m a big fan of Univox Community. They are a legit survey site with a variety of ways to earn points. Their membership levels encourage you to keep going as the rewards just keep getting better. While some members do screen out of many of their surveys and support could be improved, this is still a legit site with opportunities for members to make money.
